Frequently Asked Questions

Q: If a person has lived a very good life, helped the poor, gave money to good causes etc, wouldn't that person derserve to go to Heaven?
A: It doesn't matter how good a life you have lived or how many poor people you have helped or how much money you have donated to good causes, the hard fact still is that you are a sinner and all sinners are doomed to go to the Lake of Fire. That doesn't mean you shouldn't be doing these goods things, not at all. It means that salvation is not of works but of FAITH only. Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as the One who died for your sins on the Cross as the perfect sacrifice. It is His blood that washes away the sins of those that believe in Him and trust in Him as their Lord and Saviour. John 3:16

Q: Will I see my loved ones again in the here-after?
A: That all depends on the decision you make here on earth and the decisions your loved ones have made here on earth. If your loved ones believed and trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour, the moment they died their spirit and soul went to be with the Lord in Paradise, which now is in the third Heaven where God dwells. (Please read the topic page "The Three Heavens".) If you also have believed and trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, the moment you die your spirit and soul also go to be with the Lord in Paradise and you will catch up with your loved ones. You will be at rest in the Lord awaiting the moment of the Rapture, to recieve your resurrected bodies. The moment you die your body goes into the ground and undergoes decay. At the Rapture your body will be resurrected and changed into a spiritual body which will be reunited with your spirit and soul. 1Thessalonians4:13-18.

Q: My loved ones don't believe and I want to be with them in the here-after, so is it better for me not to believe so I will see them again and be with them in the here-after?
A: You are correct that if you and your loved ones don't believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour then you will go to the same place in eternity, and that is the Lake of Fire (after the Great White Throne Judgment Revelation 20:11). The only problem will be that I doubt it that you ever will see your loved ones again. The reason being is that the crowd will be too big too find them. Imagine you are in a large sports stadium where their are 80,000 people and they are all walking around talking and yelling; to make matter worse, it is complete darkness. You want to find a loved one among them. What would your chances be to find your loved one? Having thought this through, realise now that there will be billions and billions of lost souls in the Lake of Fire, on top of that there will most likely be as many demons in that same terrible place, it will be complete darkness (away from God, who is Light) and burning with hot sulphur. Your chances are nill to find your loved ones. So it is better to make sure you make this important decision NOW (before it is too late) and also tell your loved ones about the Lord Jesus Christ. Furthermore, you'll never know whether or not your loved ones made peace with God by believing and trusting in the Lord Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour, but haven't told you about their decision. They would be in Heaven with the Lord while you will be in the Lake of Fire. Now is the time of Salvation, so why don't you go to the Salvation page and open the door of your heart and ask the Lord Jesus Christ to come in and be your Lord and Saviour?
