What We Believe

The Only Way

This is an evangelic website proclaiming Jesus Christ as the ONLY WAY to Heaven.

What We Believe

Scriptures

We believe that the Scriptures are the inspired Word of God and that God by the Holy Spirit moved certain holy men to write the very words of Scripture. The Scriptures are complete and true in every way, thus without error. That the Scriptures are totally centered on the redeeming plan of God through His Son the Lord Jesus Christ.

GOD

We believe that there is but one only true and living God, infinite in being and perfection. He is absolutely independent of and sovereign over all. He is perfect in every way and all the time. Nothing can be added to Him or be taken away from Him. He knows everything, at all times and all is open to Him at all times (meaning that nothing is ever hidden from Him). He works all things according to the council of His own unchangeable and most righteous will, for His own glory. He is eternal (meaning He never had a beginning nor will ever have an end). He is the ALMIGHTY GOD.

The Godhead and The Holy Trinity

We believe that the Godhead exists in three persons — the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit — and that these three are one God, having completely the same nature, attributes, and are perfect in every way, that nothing can be added to Them or be taken away from Them. They are worthy to receive the same homage, confidence, and obedience.

Jesus Christ the Saviour

We believe that Jesus Christ is God. Jesus Christ is the Word. In John 1:1 we read: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." Christ, as the Word and in obedience to the Father's will, became flesh when He took on the body of Jesus, which was prepared for Him from eternity (Read Hebrews 10:5 and Psalm 40:6-8). Jesus Christ came into the world in obedience to the Father's will to be the perfect Sacrifice and redeem the lost sinners that would believe and trust in Him as their Lord and Saviour.

We believe that Jesus Christ is God the Son, the Word, John 1:1, the Creator of everything and everyone, John 1:3, Romans 11:36, Colossians 1:16, and without Him nothing can exist, He holds all things together, Colossians 1:17. What a mighty Saviour we have in the Lord Jesus Christ, God Himself! Just think about this in a special moment of silence, away from everyone and everything (when you lie in bed ready to go to sleep is a nice quiet moment to meditate on this thought) and think about yourself, a human being on this planet.

If you have ever seen a satelite photo of the Earth and realised that somewhere on that Earth there are over 6 billion humans moving around, you will start to understand how small we are. Then realise that one of these 6 billion humans is you, a sinner, doomed to spend eternity away from God in the Lake of Fire, a tiny speck on this planet, and yet God knows about you, cares for you and most of all loves you.

He knows every thing you do, have done or will do in time to come. He knows every thought you have had in your mind in the years gone by, every thought you are thinking about right now and every thought that will come into your mind in time to come. He knows every pain in your heart that no-one else knows about but yourself.

That is the God Who took pity on you and came into the world and died for you on the Cross, to be the perfect sacrifice that paid the price of sin. Christ the Word, God the Son came into this world and took on the body that was prepared for Him, the body of Jesus, and became the Son of Man, Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour.

That beautiful wonder of the miraculous incarnation, where God the Son, the Word left Heaven and came into this world and took on the body that was conceived in the womb of Mary, the body of Jesus, IMANNUEL which means "God with us" Isaiah 7:14.

Psalm 40:6-8 beautifully describes the Father and the Son in conference in a past eternity, deciding together the perfect plan (of course it had to be perfect as God can not do anything imperfect) of preparing a human body for the Messiah to enter the world of lost sinners, without being tainted by the sinful blood of Adam. At that amazing conference the Word (God the Son) said "Behold I come".

The Scriptures of the Old Testament, the Law, the Psalms and the Prophets all foretold Christ the Messiah's coming. As the Word says at that conference in past eternity "In the scroll of the book it is written of me". The Scriptures are full with the prophecies of His birth, of the things He would do, of His ministries, of His sufferings, His death, His resurrection and His ascension into Heaven.

God Himself was entering this world in human form to be the perfect Sacrifice. That's why the Virgin birth is so important! (More about this in a special topic called "The Virgin Birth".)

That's how much God loved this world that He gave His only begotten Son (the Lord Jesus Christ) that whoever (including you) believes in Him (the Lord Jesus Christ) should not perish (go to the Lake of Fire which is the second death), but have eternal life, John 3:16.

That's His plan. For you, that lost sinner, to be saved and spend your life in eternity with Him in Heaven.

The Only Way for you to be saved is for you to realise and admit that you are a sinner, that you are doomed to go into the Lake of Fire for eternity. For you to confess your sins to God, to repent (turn away from them, give them up) of your sins. For you to believe that Jesus Christ came into this world by means of the Virgin Birth to be your Saviour, that He died for you on the cross for your sins (and gave you victory over sin), that He was buried and that He rose again on the third day (and gave you victory over death) and that He ascended into Heaven to be seated at the right hand of the Father.

For you to ask the Lord Jesus Christ to come into your heart and to be your Saviour and Lord.

We have prepared a simple prayer for you. Just click here!

The moment you do this sincerely, you will be saved. You will be BORN AGAIN into the family of God, through the wonderful Blood of the Lamb, the Lord Jesus Christ. Praise the Lord!
